Friday, July 30, 2010 - 10:00 a.m. - Growing Organic Green Beans Seminar at Georgia Mountain Research & Education Center (GMREC), 195 GA Mountain Experiment Station Rd. No need to register. Justin Tyson, Rabun County Extension Coordinator - Learn a few techniques to grow green beans and other vegetables in a more sustainable ways. GMREC will display the harvest from experimental beans for the future.

Friday, July 30, 2010 - 5:00 p.m. Diamond Pageants Little Miss Bean Sprout and Mister Leather Britches - Adults $5.00, Children $3.00, Children under 4 Free -Bring cans of green beans and receive dollars off admission price. Details on Beauty Pageant page.

7:00 p.m. Friday Night Concert at the Old Courthouse
8:30 p.m. Outdoor Square Dance with Caller Mike Arnold and music by the Country Cousins

8:00 a.m. Red Cross sponsored Fun Run registration at Season's Inn

12:00 p.m. Green Bean Recipe Contest
4:00 p.m. Awards Ceremony at Civic Center
